Saunders Memorial Lecture Series: Water for a Thirsty Land: Development of Irrigation in Central Oregon

The Bowman Museum is proud to host Prineville native, author, and historian Steven Lent at our Saunders Memorial Lecture Series on Oct. 26 at 6:30pm.  Steve Lent will present, Water for a Thirsty Land: Development of Irrigation in Central Oregon.  Using historic photos and narrative, historian Steve Lent will show the development of the irrigation projects in Central Oregon and the impact it had on use of the land and water that allowed a major farming boom in the region.

Historian Steve Lent’s talk will be hosted at the Bowman Museum (246 N. Main St. Prineville).  Admission is free.
