National Friends of Libraries Week
The 17th annual Friends of Libraries week is October 16-22, 2022. Crook County Library celebrates our Friends group and thanks them for all the support they give to the library.
The Friends of the Crook County Library was founded in 1997 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership corporation dedicated to enhancing the programs, services, and materials of the Crook County Library. The Friends do so through public awareness, sponsorship of cultural programs, and private funding. The Friends have supported a variety of initiatives at the library, including the recent upgrades to our teen and children’s spaces.
This is a great time to become a member of the Friends. Annual membership dues start at $5 for seniors and students, with additional membership rates available based on your ability to give. Dues strengthen and expand library services as a supplement to county funding, allowing for special services and programs that might not otherwise be possible.
