Crook County Court - Appeal Hearing - Brasada Phase 15 - 217-22-000993-PLNG

Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Court will hold a Public Hearing at

9:30 a.m.  Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the Crook County Court meeting room, 320 NE Court Street, Prineville, Oregon, to consider the following:

 

Record Number: 217-22-000993-PLNG- An appeal to the Crook County Court by BR Community Coalition of the Planning Commission approval with conditions of the Phase 15 plat of the Brasada Ranch Destination Resort (Record # 217-22-000451-PLNG an appeal of 217-21-001013-PLNG), property owner: FNF NV Brasada, LLC.  The proposed Phase 15 includes approximately 53.3 acres, with 45.71 acres of that land developed for residential lots and 7.59 acres for road right of way. Phase 15 will be accessed from an extension of SW Spirit Rock Drive. The appellant’s grounds for appeal are in regard to trails within the proposed subdivision phase, and the verification of overnight lodging unit numbers.

 

The appeal is subject to review under Crook County Code Title 17, Chapters 17.20 (Final Plat) and Chapter 17.40 Title 18, Chapters 18.1116 (Destination Resort Overlay) and 18.172 (Administration), Crook County Comprehensive Plan, Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statutes. 

A notice of public hearing and location maps are being mailed to all appellant(s), to the applicant, those persons who testified at the Planning Commission hearing, affected parties, and public agencies at least 10 days prior to the Planning Commission hearing.

The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code Chapter 18.172.  Those with standing to appear at the hearing may submit written testimony to the Crook County Community Development Department, 300 NE 3rd Street, Prineville, Oregon 97754, prior to 4:00 p.m. on July 13, 2022, or by email (plan@co.crook.or.us) or submitted at the hearing.  The application and appeal notice are available by calling at 541-447-3211 or emailing plan@co.crook.or.us.  Documents are available on the department’s website.
