The Crook County Library features a collection of over 57,000 items for all ages and interests.  These include books, audio books, magazines, movies, newspapers, and reference materials.  Other services include public computers, Wi-Fi, a Teen Room, storytimes, meeting rooms, and a Bookmobile.  Cards are issued free to anyone with identification showing residency in the county. Borrowers from Deschutes and Jefferson Counties are also eligible for free cards. 

Hours: Mon-Wed 9:00am-8:00pm, Thur 9:00am-6:00pm, Fri 12:00pm-6:00pm, Sat 10:00am-4:00pm

To renew items online follow these instructions:

1.  Search the catalog or check your account... click
2.  Log in;  enter your library card number (the barcode on the back of your card) and your password. Your password is the last four digits of your phone number - unless you have changed it.
3.  Click on arrow by "Forgotten Your Password".
4.  Click "Online Catalog".

5.  On the left, select "My Current Loans".
6.  Choose "renew selected loans" or "renew all loans".

Take reading to the next level with eBooks from Library2Go.

Library2Go.  From the comfort of home, library users can browse the collection, check out and download eBooks, audiobooks and videos anytime, anywhere. EBooks can be read on a PC or Mac or transferred to several popular e-reading devices. Users need only a library card, computer, and Internet connection. Click HERE or on the graphic above to get started.

New Users:
  • Click the Register button under the New Users section at the bottom of the page.
  • Enter your username (we recommend you use your library card number with no spaces/dashes), create a password, verify your password, and then click the Register button. Usernames and passwords must be a minimum of 6 characters and should not include spaces. Please save your username and password as they will be required each time you logon to the site.
  • Choose one of the Learning Centers on the left to access our resources.
Returning Users:
  • Enter your username and password on the Returning User Login section at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click the Login button
  • Choose one of the Learning Centers on the left to access our resources.
